Kapoho is the newest of our Hawaiian facilities. We are excited to have added this growing range in 2005 to further realize our goal of better meeting our customers needs. We chose this area for it's climate which is well suited to growing. We began work on the Kapoho range in the fall of 2005. Now as of 2010 we have close to three acres of shade house/hardcover, as well as a loading dock and offices. In addition we have put up outdoor table space. The total area of the Kapoho range is roughly 5 acres.
At Kapoho, we are currently growing Rhapis, Caryota, Chamadorea Seifritzii, Kentia, and Neodypsis. Our specialty crop at this range is our beautiful and durable hawaiian grown chamadorea seifritzii. West Coast Nurseries hawaiian grown chamadorea seifritzii have a reputation of holding up extremely well on accounts. We believe that the reason for this is both cultural and genetic.
