Current Status as of August, 2010
Status remains much the same as it has been over last several months, since we were once again able to bring in material from our main nursery. In addition to the increase in the number of shipments, we are also having slight increase in the quantity of material coming in as well. Shortages of both size and type of material continues to be an issue. This state of affairs will most likely be the case throughout
the rest of 2010.
As in past web updates, we have noted the varieties of type and size of incoming material to be on the increase. Specifically regarding our Hawaiian dracaena we are currently bringing in Dracaena Janet Craig c/b, Drac. Hilo Girl c/b, Drac Hawaii Girl c/b, Dracaena Warneckii c/b and Dracaena Goldstar c/b. The sizes that we are receiving are primarily 2g 4-5ft, and 10 inch 5-6ft, with a smaller number of 12 inch 7ft material. Our hawaiian grown massageana cane continue to be in short supply, and we do not expect this situation to improve in the near future.
As far as something new or a little different we do have an expanded two to three foot range of draceana available at this time. While we would normally have dracaena Art, draceana Limelight, and drac Janet Craig in that size range, in addition to those varieties we have an increased pallet that now includes drac hilo girl, and dracaena goldstar in the 2-3 ft range. Additionally over the past few containers we are also beginning to have some ming, black aralia, and some cordyline green ti and colored ti. Quantities available continue to be low but any improvement is positive.
Remember that:
" The building is not green until the plants arrive!"
Once again we do thank you, our customers, for your patience as the initial quantities that we are getting in on most items are not sufficient to last until the next group is released for sale.

Boxed Specimen Beaucarnea Recurvata !!
We have beautiful specimen sized Beaucarne Recurvata boxed and grown in full sun. These pieces have stunning appearance in size and quality. Due to their size they will be best suited to direct plant outdoor projects or large indoor atriums.
These large specimen ponytail palms are perfect for poolside plantings or alongside of a patio. They will acclimate back to indoor application assuming the project is a large atrium with high light levels. They are very reasonably priced for their size and structure. Contact us for details
Beaucarnea in Shade
We do still have some specimens growing under shade in 65 gallon and 35 gallon containers. While all of the largest specimens are boxed and growing in full sun we still do have several pieces under shade in the 10'+ range. Contact us for details.
